Wispers Connect gets your programs to talk to each other as if they were running locally. You just link the library or run a sidecar process, and Wispers creates a secure overlay network for you behind the scenes. Connections are direct and secure, even if your devices are behind NAT-devices. Not even the Wispers rendezvous server can intercept or tamper with the data.
No unnecessary cloud dependency
Most new software ends up as a cloud service, even if it only has a handful of users. The reason: It's hard to connect people's devices — smartphones, laptops, workstations — without running a service on the public internet. That means exposing it to billions of people, including people who make a living breaking into things. So you may as well put the service in the cloud, where they have a world-class security team.
With Wispers, you connect your software directly and securely, without exposing anything to the public internet. You can still use the cloud if you want to. You just don't have to.
